Four production processes of aluminum alloy door and window profiles

The production of aluminum door and window profiles goes through the four processes of ingot preparation, extrusion molding, heat treatment and surface treatment.  1. Casting preparation   The process of casting preparation includes the main processes of batching, smelting, casting, soaking, etc., to form an ingot with a certain chemical composition and external dimensions. The prepared raw materials are smelted in a gas furnace or an electric furnace. After smelting, the melt passes through a static furnace, launder, flow plate, and filter until it reaches the crystallizer, and then is water-cooled to form an ingot of a certain shape. In order to ensure a smooth and clean surface of the ingot, magnetic casting or hot top casting is used for multi-mold (multi-mold) casting. The soaking of the ingot is to homogenize the metallographic structure in the as-cast state and dissolve the main strengthening phase. Soaking is carried out in a soaking furnace. Soaking improves the plasticity of the ingot, which is beneficial to increase the extrusion speed, extend the life of the extrusion die, and improve the surface quality of the extruded profile.  Second, extrusion molding   Extrusion molding is carried out on an automatic production line composed of ingot heating, extrusion, cooling, tension straightening, sawing and other processes. The equipment on the production line includes induction heating furnace, extruder, discharge table, discharge conveyor, profile lifting and conveying device, cooling bed, tension leveler, storage table, tractor, sawing machine, etc. The heating temperature of the ingot is generally controlled at 400 ℃ ~ 520 ℃, the temperature is too high or too low will directly affect the extrusion molding. The extruder generally uses a single-acting hydraulic press with a tonnage between 1200 tons and 2500 tons. The diameter of the extrusion cylinder of the extruder varies with the tonnage of the extruder. The tonnage of the extruder is large, and the diameter of the extrusion cylinder is also large. The diameter of the extrusion cylinder is generally in the range of 150mm~300mm. The working temperature of the extrusion tool is 360℃~460℃, and the extrusion speed is 20m/min~80m/min. Extrusion tools mainly include dies. Extrusion molds are divided into flat molds, split molds, tongue molds and split combined molds according to their structural characteristics. Flat molds and split combined molds are used for the production of aluminum alloy door and window profiles. The discharge table receives the profile extruded from the extruder and transfers the profile to the discharge table. The discharging workbench is mostly a horizontal transport type, and its horizontal movement speed is synchronized with the extrusion speed. The cooling bed is mostly walking beam type, and a considerable number of fans are installed below to ensure uniform cooling of the profile, so that the temperature of the profile before straightening is lower than 70 ℃. The tension leveler is equipped with twisting jaws, which can be stretched and straightened while twisting and correcting. Behind the tension leveler is a storage table, which provides profiles to the sawing machine worktable, and the sawing machine cuts the profiles according to a fixed length.  3. Heat treatment  The aluminum-magnesium-silicon-based aluminum alloy used in aluminum door and window profiles is a strengthenable aluminum alloy. Through different quenching and aging systems, the mechanical properties of the profile can be obtained. Aluminum door and window profiles are supplied by RCS, that is, heat treatment is rapid cooling and artificial aging after high temperature forming.  Four, surface treatment   The surface treatment of aluminum door and window profiles is mostly anodized to make the surface of the profile silvery white. Surface treatment can enhance the appearance of the profile and prolong the service life of aluminum door and window profiles. Anodizing process: charging, degreasing, washing, alkali etching, warm water washing, cold water washing, and light washing, anodizing, cold water washing, warm water washing, sealing, drying, unloading, and inspection and packaging. The surface treatment of aluminum door and window profiles can also be colored. Aluminum profiles requiring other colors can be obtained by natural oxidation coloring method, electrolytic coloring method and immersion coloring method.
